Jessica Rowe comes to the Anna Design store...

Mid May saw TV personality Jessica Rowe venture into Mosman seeking out the Anna Design store.  Jessica enjoyed a coffee and chat to her girlfriends while trying on a number of items from the new Anna Design collections.  The coloured ranges Mariposa and Viva seemed to be the picks of the day as Jessica was taken by the turquoise statement pieces as well as both silver and gold. 

When the time came, Jessica decided on a turquoise, agate and sterling silver short statement necklace to take home from the Mariposa range.  As per usual, it was all smiles at the Anna Design HQ.

The Time Has Come...

And so, the time has come where I have started my very own blog to reveal my fashion loves, hates and contradictions.  And in the spirit of now where the feature film Alice in Wonderland is running wild, what better a concept to start with than the plight between opulence and understated classic simplicity.

The presence of two incredibly diverse Queen characters within this film has allowed the notion of opulence and simplicity to be addressed to a large extent.  The Red Queen with her many indulgences, and the White Queen and her essence of purity displays distinct parallels to the fashions that have gained precedence today. 

Jewelled cuffs stacked to the brim, huge cocktail rings and charm-heavy sterling silver necklaces contrasted with a classic LBD can bring out the Red Queen within you.
